This website is designed to give an insight into my music, the singarounds, sessions, weekends, training courses and festivals that I attend. The type of music I play is varied, I wouldn't like to be restricted to any genre, “if it is a good song or tune lets hear it”.  As a way of introduction the video below is of me singing one of my own songs, ‘Why’

I live in Cheadle Hulme near Stockport and spend a great deal of my time

attending local music sessions, often called ‘Folk Clubs’, the ones I like to

attend are acoustic singing/playing sessions where you can play along and

there is no restriction as to the type of music.  Please see the Local Sessions page.  I have my own business (The Day You Were Born, DIY Paperweights and Franchises) and find that weekends are the only time I get get away so attend a number of singaround weekends see Mini Festivals and Music Training.  I play and sing in the  The RagTag Band. As a singer songwriter I also like to cover other peoples songs and sing traditional songs with one or two of my own.  In 2006 I released my first CD ‘Will it Hurt’ and about to launch my second CD ‘White Lady’ in 2014,  the full versions (MP3) of the songs are on this website with the lyrics, if your a singer I would love you to sing one of my songs.
